We are off!

We just got in the car and on our way out of NOVA, and wow we def will NOT miss all of this heat and humidity!! UGH!! We are on our way to Winston-Salem, NC for the night. We will be staying with our friends, Marc & McCall and their two kids! Its weird though, it hasn't really hit either of us yet that we are really starting our trip/move out to California! We just feel l like we are going away on vacation!! Even though that would have been the hardest packing job for just a vacation! LOL We have been so busy with packing, cleaning and saying goodbye to everyone that we are exhausted! Looking forward to sleeping in a little bit tomorrow morning since we are not planning on leaving for Atlanta until noon. :-)

We are sad we forgot to take any pictures while we were over at the Hershey's house last night for dinner.  Drew & Leta, thank you so much for having us over and feeding us!!! It was delicious and great seeing you and the kids one last time!

ALMOST OFF!!

Well, in less than 24 hours we will officially be leaving NOVA and blizzards! Sean and I are really excited for this adventure to begin. Kaya isn't quite sure what is going on, but is ok with it all as long as she is with us! A few people had expressed interest in us keeping them posted on our travels, and we thought the best way to do so was to start a blog. Neither of us have ever done one before, but we hope it will be fun and interesting for everyone. :-) We would love to hear any feedback and ideas from you on where to go, eat, see in places that we are visiting or near by. So please let us know! Even if you don't have any ideas we still want to hear from you, so please comment and keep in touch!
